Working With PLA Bed Temperature

The ideal range for the extruder is between 190 to 220 ℃. However, make sure that the extruder is not too hot as this can make the filament soft and droopy.
The best temperature range for the heating bed is between 50 to 70 ℃.
While 3D printing with PLA, ensure that you get an enclosure so that external factors don’t spoil your print.

Working With PETG Bed Temperature

PETG bed temperature will be higher than that of PLA. In general, on the hot end, you should keep the temperature range between 220 to 250 ℃.
One of the benefits of working with PETG 3D printer filament is that it does not warp often. However, it is prone to stringing. Furthermore, with excessive cooling, you can delaminate the layers. Hence, ensure that the cooling process is precise, and you store filament in a dry and moisture-free environment.
It is ideal to set the heat bed temperature between 55 to 70 ℃.
